Midnight Secretary 6 by Tomu Ohmi

Things are drawing to a close in this penultimate volume of the series. The couple have confirmed their feelings for each other and committed to a monogamous relationship. But there are still some issues they must surmount, all of which have to do with the vampire clan of Touma’s family.

In this volume, Kaya worries she might be pregnant and realizes that could be problematic considering the vampire clan’s need for children. They would likely take any child away, regardless if vampire or human, and that she could not allow.  Touma also seeks to protect her by not getting her pregnant or marrying her.

It is all leading up to a showdown with the vampire clan as the clan leader comes to Kaya and gives her some dire warnings. What they have together may not be enough to protect them if Kaya does become pregnant.

Also included is a short story involving Kaya’s former boss, President Takasu, and her cat princess.
